Veronica ‘Sunny Border Blue’ is a long-established and much admired garden perennial, producing dense spikes of rich deep blue flowers through early and mid-summer. The upright flower stems rise above compact mounds of dark green foliage, creating clear vertical accents that bring rhythm and structure to mixed borders.
Reliable and easy to grow, this classic speedwell combines particularly well with geraniums, salvias and ornamental grasses, while its nectar-rich flowers are attractive to bees and other pollinators. Its tidy clumping habit makes it well suited to the middle or front of sunny borders, where the vivid blue flower spikes provide strong seasonal colour.
