• Plant now to enjoy soft, fluffy purple-tinged flower plumes from July to October, with peak flowering generally occurring during August and September. The plumes gradually fade to silvery-grey and then creamy-beige, remaining attractive well into winter.
Calamagrostis brachytricha is a strong, upright ornamental grass forming a clump of glossy green foliage that turns buttery yellow in autumn. Tall, airy flower plumes rise above the foliage, creating a wonderful soft, hazy effect and plenty of movement in the garden.
Excellent for the middle or back of borders, this RHS Award of Garden Merit grass is particularly effective in prairie and naturalistic planting schemes, where its late-season plumes combine beautifully with flowering perennials.

Lovely plants looking really healthy and big👍
Amazing quality and packaging and service.
The plants arrived with lots of very healthy top growth and a great root system, they were wrapped in newspaper to keep the plants from drying out on their journey.
