Miscanthus sinensis ‘Hermann Müssel’ is a strong, upright ornamental grass with narrow, arching dark-green leaves and a distinctive white midrib. In late summer it produces large, airy plumes held well above the foliage, opening honey-pink before gradually fading to silvery-white.

Highly architectural and free-flowering, this impressive grass brings height, movement and structure to the back of mixed borders, prairie planting and naturalistic gardens. The foliage turns pale gold in autumn, while the flower plumes remain attractive through winter, providing valuable late-season and winter interest.
