Plant now to enjoy pale lilac-blue, daisy-like flowers from July to September, with peak flowering generally occurring during August.

Aster pyrenaeus ‘Lutetia’ is a vigorous, clump-forming perennial producing masses of large, starry flowers with pale lilac-blue petals and yellow centres on sturdy, branching stems. Its relaxed, airy habit makes it particularly effective in mixed borders, prairie planting and cottage gardens.

Long-flowering and remarkably free-flowering, ‘Lutetia’ is also valued for its good resistance to powdery mildew and its ability to perform well in a range of well-drained soils. The flowers are excellent for cutting and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.
