Sanguisorba officinalis ‘Pink Tanna’ is an elegant, clump-forming perennial producing slender stems topped with deep pink bottlebrush-like flower heads and pale pink stamens. Its airy, see-through habit makes it ideal for the middle of borders, naturalistic planting and prairie-style gardens, where it adds height and movement without creating a heavy mass.
Long-flowering and highly attractive to pollinators, ‘Pink Tanna’ combines particularly well with ornamental grasses and late-flowering perennials. The flowers sway gently in the breeze and the attractive seed heads can be left standing to provide additional autumn interest.
