Lythrum salicaria ‘Robert’ is a compact and floriferous form of purple loosestrife, producing dense spikes of vivid rosy-pink flowers from midsummer into early autumn. The upright flower stems rise above neat clumps of lance-shaped green foliage, creating strong vertical colour in the border.

More compact and garden-friendly than the species, ‘Robert’ is particularly well suited to mixed borders, wildlife gardens, and moisture-retentive planting schemes.
