Plant now to enjoy clouds of tiny white flowers from June to September, with peak flowering generally occurring during July and August.

Calamintha nepeta subsp. nepeta is a compact, bushy perennial with aromatic, grey-green foliage and masses of tiny, delicate white flowers held in loose clusters above the leaves. Its naturally neat habit makes it ideal for the front of borders, gravel gardens, rockeries and Mediterranean-style planting.

Exceptionally long-flowering and drought tolerant once established, lesser calamint is highly attractive to bees and other pollinators and provides a soft, airy display for much of the summer. The aromatic foliage adds an extra dimension, releasing a pleasant mint-like scent when bruised.
