Calamagrostis ‘Karl Foerster’ is a tall, upright ornamental grass forming strong, narrow clumps of fresh green foliage. Its feathery flower plumes emerge in early summer, initially with a subtle green or bronze tint before maturing to warm buff, creating a striking vertical accent in the garden.

Highly architectural and dependable, this low-maintenance perennial grass is ideal for the back of borders, prairie planting, screening, and contemporary gardens.
