Very adaptable, tough mounding perennial. White Wood Aster has smaller, fragrant, starry flowers (slightly less than 1” in diameter) that are borne very abundantly on wiry stems.
In full bloom this perennial is covered with flowers; if grown in shade there are less blooms, but on the other hand you can plant it in full shade or, even better, dry shade – exactly where many other plants will fail.
