Symphyotrichum ‘Sarah Ballard’

Symphyotrichum ‘Sarah Ballard’ is a striking late-season perennial known for its abundant lilac-pink daisy-like flowers with golden centers. Blooming from late summer into autumn, it adds vibrant colour to borders when most other plants are fading. A robust, upright variety, it reaches around 1.2–1.5m tall and is perfect for cottage gardens, pollinator patches, or naturalistic planting schemes. Like other asters, it’s a magnet for bees and butterflies and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil.
