Plant now to enjoy deep burgundy-red bottlebrush flowers from June to September, with peak flowering generally occurring during July and August.

Sanguisorba ‘Tanna’ is a compact, clump-forming perennial producing numerous deep burgundy-red flower heads on slender stems above attractive, finely divided foliage. Its neat, compact habit makes it particularly useful for the front or middle of borders, containers, and naturalistic planting.

Long-flowering and easy to grow, ‘Tanna’ adds rich colour and movement without taking up too much space. The flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, while the seed heads can be left in place to provide autumn and winter interest.
